CHIGOZIE ATUANYA IN VIRGINIA FOR WORLD PREMIERE OF IGBO LANGUAGE MOVIE, 'CHETANNA'

Nollywood actor, Chigozie Atuanya, is currently in Virginia, USA, for the world premiere of the Igbo language movie, Chetanna, which he produced. The movie, which is subtitled in English, will be premiered at the World Igbo Festival of Arts and Culture, which starts in Staunton, Virginia, on July 24. The movie will also be premiered in Lagos, Awka, Aba, and Umuahia, subsequently. Chetanna stars Queen Nwokoye, Ebube Nwagbo, Ebele Okaro, and Chigozie Atuanya himself. AASEP PAYS LAST RESPECTS TO OZOEMENA NSUGBE

Members of the Association of Anambra State Entertainment Practitioners (AASEP) last Friday, came in from all parts of the federation to pay their last respects to the late King of Ekpiri music, Peter Achukwu Muo (aka Ozoemena Nsugbe). They joined other members of the public in Nsugbe, Anambra State, for the burial of the late musician. Some of the entertainers who attended the event under the banner of AASEP were Yul Edochie, Chigozie Atuanya, Bob-Manuel Udokwu, Clarion Chukwurah, Rita Edochie, Ebele Okaro, Obi Madubuogwu, Ifeanyi Ikpoenyi (President, AASEP), Tai Emeka Obasi, Stanley Chira, Ifeanyi Anazodo, Emeka Morgan, and Sylvester Madu. EBELE OKARO-ONYIUKE, CHIOMA AKPOTHA, AND BELINDA EFFAH AT THE PREMIERE OF 'MUSICAL WHISPERS'

The premiere of the movie, Musical Whispers, took place at Silverbird Galleria, last Friday (May 30, 2014). The movie was produced by Ebele Okaro-Onyiuke and directed by Bond Emeruwa. It stars Ebele Okaro, Kalu Ikeagwu, Chioma Akpotha, Ekpenyong Bassey Inyang, and Belinda Effah. This beautiful picture of the cast was taken on the red carpet at the premiere. The premiere was sponsored by Neimeth Pharmaceuticals and Promasidor Top Tea.

The trailer of the Igbo language movie, Chetanna (directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka) has been released. The movie stars Chigozie Atuanya, Queen Nwokoye, Ebube Nwagbo, and Ebele Okaro. The movie tells the story of Emeka (Chigozie Atuanya) who comes from America for a business meeting. The movie will be premiered at the Igbo World Festival of Arts and Culture in in Virginia on July 24. After the Virginia premiere, it will then the premiered in Nigeria. Chigozie Atuanya is the Executive Producer of Chetanna. Enjoy the trailer!

MOSES INWANG GETS BACK TO WORK

In less that one week after his traditional marriage in Port Harcourt, Nollywood director, Moses Inwang, returned to work. He is currently at work in Calabar, completing the movie, Thieves and Weavers, which was started last December. The film stars Rita Dominic, Juliet Ibrahim, Wole Ojo, Bobby Obodo, and Ebele Okaro.
