AASEP PAYS LAST RESPECTS TO OZOEMENA NSUGBE

Members of the Association of Anambra State Entertainment Practitioners (AASEP) last Friday, came in from all parts of the federation to pay their last respects to the late King of Ekpiri music, Peter Achukwu Muo (aka Ozoemena Nsugbe). They joined other members of the public in Nsugbe, Anambra State, for the burial of the late musician. Some of the entertainers who attended the event under the banner of AASEP were Yul Edochie, Chigozie Atuanya, Bob-Manuel Udokwu, Clarion Chukwurah, Rita Edochie, Ebele Okaro, Obi Madubuogwu, Ifeanyi Ikpoenyi (President, AASEP), Tai Emeka Obasi, Stanley Chira, Ifeanyi Anazodo, Emeka Morgan, and Sylvester Madu. The film, which Yul Edochie and Yvonne Okoro have been shooting in Owerri for some days now, has been wrapped. The movie was directed by Sylvester Madu, and it also stars Jibola Dabo, Ebube Nwagbo. According to Yul Edochie, it was great working with the Sylvester Madu and Yvonne Okoro. All we need to do now is wait for the release movie - it's sure to be a blockbuster.

SYLVESTER MADU DUMPS ACTING - NOW FULL TIME PASTOR

Sylvester Madu, a popular Nollywood actor with a reputation for playing tough characters has quit acting for good to become a full time pastor in one of the parishes of Christ Embassy Church. His parish is located at Eric Moore Rd in Surulere (Lagos). Today, his image is very different from that of the bad boy characters, which he was known for. Almost always, formally dressed, he even engages in door to door evangelism. Some of the movies, which he has starred in Sound of Poverty, Power of Trust, Scent of Passion, Margaret Thatcher, Holy Cross, and The Sheperd. The loss of the movie industry is the gain of the Lord's vineyard I guess. Thanks for the memories Sylvester.
