He also holds a degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos. The first Nollywood movie in which he appeared was Living in Bondage (1992). KENNETH OKONKWO RECEIVES NAFCA AWARD

Veteran Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo, last Thursday, was presented with his Special NAFCA Most Influential Peoples award, which he won at the Nollywood and African Film Critics Award 2013. He was unable to attend the event, which took place at the Warner Theatre in Washington on September 14, 2013.

KENNETH OKONKWO MADE AMBASSADOR FOR NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY

Veteran Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo, was this week, made an ambassador of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). In addition, he was granted a scholarship to study for a Doctorate degree in Public Administration at the university. Present at the ceremony were the Vice Chancellor of NOUN, Professor Vincent Tenebe, and the Registrar, Mrs. Josephine Akinyemi.

Nollywood stars stormed Columbus, Ohio, for the Universal Achievers Awards, which took place on Saturday, March 22. Some of those who were present at the award ceremony were Kenneth Okonkwo, Chiwetalu Agu, Victor Osuagwu, Prince David Osei, Teco Benson, Hakeem Rahman, Funke Etti, Andy Boyo, and Collins Archie-Pearce.

Kenneth Okonkwo has starred in many classic Nollywood movies, such as Living in Bondage and World Apart, while Sugar Chika Asoegwu, is best known for her appearance in the movie, Blackberry Babes. She has also been in Ada Mbano Reloaded, Adaure, Return of Girls Cot, and Sex in the Church.
