Schemers is a romantic thriller produced by Lisa Omorodion and Grace Oboba Edwin-Okon. It was shot on location in Lagos, in July 2015. It was directed by Gbenga Salu and it stars IK Ogbonna, Wole Ojo, Adunni Adewale (aka Adunni Ade), Lisa Omorodion, Daniel K Daniel, and Tunbosun Aiyedehin. According to the producers, the movie will be released in August 2015, and it will be available on Iroko TV, M-Net BoxOffice, and later on DVD/VCD.

It was shot on location in Lagos in June 2015. According to the producer of the movie, Miss Taken will be released on Iroko TV in the last week of July, and later on Africa Magic.

MONALISA CHINDA'S TALK SHOW SET TO HIT THE SCREEN

Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda, has completed production of her talk show, You and I with Monalisa. The show will go on air this week, and it will be on African Independent Television, TV Continental, and some other platforms, yet to be made known. Guests in the first season of the show include Segun Arinze, Charles Novia, Ayo 'AY' Makun, Lanre Olusola, Tonye Cole, Mai Atafo, and Dotun Akande. RAMSEY NOUAH, GIDEON OKEKE, OSAS AJIBADE, STAR IN 'GBOMO-GBOMO EXPRESS'

Ramsey Nouah, Gideon Okeke, and Osas Ajibade, star in the crime caper, GBOMO-GBOMO EXPRESS, which will be released in the third quarter of 2015. Mercy Macjoe and Jude Orhorha star in a new romantic drama titled Christabel Dec25th, which was shot in March 2015. The movie was shot on location in Lagos. Frederick Leonard and Mary Njoku star in the new movie, Dejavuu, which was shot in March 2015. The movie was directed by Chris Eneaji (Murder at Prime Suites, Secret Room) and produced by Crey Ahanonu. Also in the movie are TT Temple Ikeji, Linda Ejiofor, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Keira Hewatch, Chris Biyibi, Tommy Oyewole, Mfon Ukpong Richard, and Monique Samuel. Dejavuu revolves round Mr. Emma Okah (Frederick Leonard) who is torn between saving his wife, Julia (Mary Remmy Njoku), his job, and a little boy. It was shot on location in Mgbidi Awo, Imo State. The movie was directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka and Okechukwu Oku. It was produced by Vitus Nnebue for Gold Pictures Global Link Production Ltd, with Okwui Eneowo as associate producer. Also in the movie are Rita Arum, Dominic Onu, George Ezenwora, Chizoba Derevko Obodoeze, Nelson Onyemaeze Nwahiri, and Angela Adiele. 

DESMOND ELLIOTT BATTLES THE BULGE

Nollywood star, Desmond Elliott, has hit the gym, in a serious effort to lose weight. According to the actor, he used to have a 34-inch waist before shooting up to 42 inches. Nollywood actress, ChaCha Eke Faani, is in a happy mood right now. Her father, Professor John Eke, was today (July 1, 2015), sworn in as Commissioner of Education in Ebonyi State, under the administration of Governor Dave Umahi. The actress posted a picture of herself and her dad on Instagram, which was taken right after the swearing-in ceremony. The picture shows the actress and her dad, wearing matching hats.
