Africa Magic on Monday (July 6, 2015) launched it's latest sitcom, DoGood, at a glamorous event, which was held in Lagos, at the Oriental Hotel. Present at the launch were lead actor, Basorge Tariah Jnr., and star actress, Kate Henshaw, who also appears in the sitcom. Others in attendance include Wangi Mba-Uzuokwu (Regional Manager, Africa Magic), John Ugbe (MD, Multichoice Nigeria), Ini Edo, Bryan Okwara, Funmi Holder, Charles Novia, Segun Arinze, Bovi Ugboma, and Helen Paul. Charles Novia, Ramsey Nouah, Tope Oshin Ogun, and Chineze Anyaene, are attending the World Economic Forum currently taking place in Abuja. They are part of the panel discussing Nollywood at a session today (May 9, 2014). Also on the panel is Zik Zulu Okafor, president of the Association of Movie Producers.
International Distillers (makers of Veleta wine and Chelsea Dry Gin) on Friday (February 7), hosted Mercy Johnson and a host of Nollywood stars, as they launched a new wine into the Nigerian market. The event took place at the company head office in Ikeja, and some of those who were present were Mercy Johnson, Fred Amata, Collins Onwochei, Charles Novia, Emeka Ossai, Chico Ejiro, and Gbenga Adeyinka.
