CELEBRITY BIRTHDAY: CLARION CHUKWURAH

Hip Hip Hooray! Today (July 24) is the birthday of veteran actress, Clarion Chukwurah. She attended University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), where she studied Acting and Speech in the Department of Dramatic Arts. Some of her movies are Owo L'agba, High Blood Pressure, Ògìdán, Glamour Girls, and Apaye. In 1984, she won the award for Best Actress at the FESPACO film festival, for her role in the film, Owo L’agba. Thirty years later in 2014, she won the AMAA award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, for her role in the movie, Apaye. Join us in wishing this remarkable actress a happy birthday.
