Hip Hip Hooray! Today (May 18) is the birthday of veteran actor and Nollywood star, Fred Amata. He is from Isoko in Delta State, Nigeria. He was born  May 18, 1963, into the family of  renowned actor and playwright, John Ifoghale Amata. He studied Theatre Arts at the University of Jos. Some of the movies he has appeared in are Letters to a Stranger, Keeping Faith, Anini, The Amazing Grace, Blindfold, and Black November. Join us in wishing him a happy birthday.

FRED AMATA STEPS OUT WITH HIS DAUGHTER

Nollywood actor, Fred Amata, had a day out with his 16-year old daughter, Stephanie, on Sunday. She is the second child from his marriage to Agatha Amata, which ended in divorce. Veteran actor, Fred Amata, and Nollywood actress, Grace Amah, were today inducted into the Drug Free Club of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency. The club was established to fight the menace of drug abuse in the society. Also inducted into the club along with them was media personality, Dayo Adeneye a.k.a D1.

INTERNATIONAL DISTILLERS HOSTS MERCY JOHNSON AND OTHER NOLLYWOOD STARS

International Distillers (makers of Veleta wine and Chelsea Dry Gin) on Friday (February 7), hosted Mercy Johnson and a host of Nollywood stars, as they launched a new wine into the Nigerian market.
