TANA ADELANA, ODUNLADE ADEKOLA, MERCY JOHNSON, IN 'DALUCHI'

Tana Adelana, Odunlade Adekola, and Mercy Johnson, are in a new movie, titled Daluchi, which was recently shot in Ajah, Lagos. It was directed by Tope Alake (Picture Perfect, Stormy Hearts). Daluchi was produced by Tana Adelana and Taiwo Adebayo. Also in the moivie are Eniola Badmus, Adeniyi Johnson, Femi Jacobs, Lydia lawrence, Adaugo Ogbu, and Olu Salako (SLK).

Nollywood producer, Blessing Effiom Egbe, premiered her latest film, Iquo's Journal, in Lagos, last Friday (June 29, 2015). The premiere took place at Genesis Deluxe Cinemas in Lekki. RITA DOMINIC, BAYO ALAWIYE, COMPLETE WORK ON 'MARY MAGDALENE'

Rita Dominic and Bayo Alawiye have completed work on the movie, Mary Magdalene, after four weeks of filming. The movie was announced with much fanfare, at a signing ceremony, which took place in March. Mary Magdalene was directed by Afe Olumowe, and also stars Femi Jacobs.

Iquo's Journal is a powerful social drama written and directed by Blessing Effiom Egbe. It stars Kate Henshaw, Femi Jacobs, Malachi Hart, Blessing Effiom Egbe, and Josephine Ewuru. Kate Henshaw plays the title character, Iquo, who falls victim to AIDS, in the movie. AMVCA winner, Femi Jacobs, plays Banjo Ogunleye, a filmmaker, who is married to Kate Henshaw's character. Iquo's Journal is an emotional and brilliantly acted movie, which takes a balanced look at the reality of living with AIDS.
