Nollywood star, Mercy Johnson, is fully back to acting, following the birth of her second child, who was born October, last year. She is currently starring alongside Mike Ezuruonye and Tony Umez in a movie titled Moon Maid, which is being shot in Asaba. Also in the movie are Uche Ebere Agu, Blessing Nwankwo, Emma Emordi, Nichole Banna, Lizzygold Onuwaje, and Choma Chijioke. Moon Maid is a production of Emeka Anene's First Movies Production Ltd. It is being produced by Solomon Apete (aka Solo Amaco), and it is being directed Tchidi Chikere. This will be Mercy Johnson's third production since resuming acting. A hot new movie The Banker, starring Nollywood’s finest, Belinda Effah, Seun Akindele, Mbong Amata, Nsikan Isaac, Ifeanyi Kalu, and Nichole Banna, is set to be premiered this month on the 16th of May 2015. Also in the movie are Emma Ayalogu, and Maureen Okpoko. The movie which was produced by Nsikan Isaac (with Emem Isong as supervising producer) also boasts Ikechukwu Onyeka as director. Screenplay and story was by seasoned writer Yinka Ogun. The venue for the premiere is the prestigious Civic Centre, in Victoria Island, Lagos and is strictly by invitation. Nollywood actresses, Nsikan Isaac and Nichole Banna, today (March 21, 2015), graduated from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt. Nichole studied Computer Science, while Nsikan studied Petroleum Engineering. The two girls have had to balance their academics with their acting career for the past two years.
