IK OGBONNA, LISA OMORODION, WOLE OJO, ADUNNI ADE, STAR IN 'SCHEMERS'

Schemers is a romantic thriller produced by Lisa Omorodion and Grace Oboba Edwin-Okon. It was shot on location in Lagos, in July 2015. It was directed by Gbenga Salu and it stars IK Ogbonna, Wole Ojo, Adunni Adewale (aka Adunni Ade), Lisa Omorodion, Daniel K Daniel, and Tunbosun Aiyedehin. According to the producers, the movie will be released in August 2015, and it will be available on Iroko TV, M-Net BoxOffice, and later on DVD/VCD. 

DOLAPO ONI, OC UKEJE, ALEXX EKUBO, LIZ BENSON, STAR IN 'DIARY OF A LAGOS GIRL'

Parables Entertainment, the studio that brought Tunnel (Waje, Femi Jacobs, Patrick Doyle) is gearing up to release their brand new film, Diary of a Lagos Girl. The romantic comedy was directed by Jumoke Olatunde, and produced by Nike Erinle. It stars Dolapo Oni, OC Ukeje, Alexx Ekubo, Liz Benson, Linda Ejiofor, Paul Adams, Adunni Adewale (aka Adunni Ade), and Femi Amusan. See behind-the-scenes pictures, and a teaser, below.

CELEBRITY BIRTHDAY: ADUNNI ADEWALE

Hip Hip Hooray! Today (June 7) is the birthday of Nollywood actress, Adunni Adewale (aka Adunni Ade). She was born in Queens, New York, to a Nigerian father and American-German mother. She had her primary education at Chrisland School, Ikeja, and her secondary education at Bells Secondary School, Ota. She attended University of Kentucky, where she studied Accounting. Some of her movies are Honeymoon, Housegirl Lover, and Mongo Park. Join us in wishing her a happy birthday.

2nd Honeymoon is a drama film produced by Dabby Chimere and directed by Ikechukwu Ifeanyi. It stars Alexx Ekubo, Uche Iwuanyanwu, Adunni Adewale, and Uzor Arukwe. It is about a couple who decide to spice up their relationship and go on a second honeymoon, but a twist of fate puts the couple through undue pressure, which may make or break their relationship. Rita Dominic, Bobby Obodo, and Wole Ojo, are starring in a new movie titled A Tale of Two Thieves, which is currently being shot in Lagos.
