Obi Okoli, Liz Benson, and Yul Edochie, are starring in a TV series titled The Palace, which is currently being shot in Owerri, Imo State. Also appearing in the series are Chiwetalu Agu, Geraldine Ejiogu, Adaeze Eluke, Queeneth Hilbert, Stephanie Scott, and Uju Okoli. The series is being directed by Chidi Anyanwu, and it is being produced by Kingsley Okereke of Divine Touch Production.

LIZ BENSON IS BACK! STARS IN 'MOTHER DEAREST'

After a long absence from the screen, Liz Benson seems to be making a gradual return to acting. In 2012, she starred in the movie Dry, which was directed by Stephanie Linus. In 2013, she starred in the film, Living Funeral, for which she received an AMVCA nomination for Best Supporting Actress. At the moment, she is in Port Harcourt, starring in a new production titled Mother Dearest, which is being directed by Willis Uzuoma. Starring alongside her in the movie is Daniel K Daniel, who was a nominee for Revelation of the Year at the Best of Nollywood Awards 2013.

Pioneering Nollywood actress, Liz Benson (now Liz Ameye), has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2014, for her role in the film, Living Funeral. Since 2007, the actress has only done two movies, Dry (directed by Stephanie Linus) and Living Funeral (directed by Udoka Oyeka).
