Banky W, Kanayo O. Kanayo, and Hilda Dokubo, star in the movie, UP NORTH, which will be released in cinemas across Nigeria on December 28. The movie was directed by Nigerian filmmaker, Tope Oshin (Fifty, Journey To Self). Also in the movie are Rahama Sadau, Adesua Etomi, Ibrahim Suleiman, and Michelle Dede. UP NORTH is a production of Anakle Films and Inkblot Productions.

MEET THE CAST OF 'DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES AFRICA'

The cast of the much anticipated TV series, Desperate Housewives Africa, has been unveiled. Desperate Housewives Africa is an African adaptation of popular ABC television drama series, Desperate Housewives. It is a joint production of Disney and EbonyLife TV. Starring in the series are Michelle Dede, Kehinde Bankole, Marcy Dolapo-Oni, Linda Osifo, Omotu Bissong, and Nina Wacera. Also appearing in the series are Femi Branch, Joseph Benjamin, Jason Nwoga, Nonso Odogwu, Ozzy Agu, and Benjamin Lugo Touitou. The series is scheduled to premiere on EbonyLife TV (DSTV Ch165) on April 30, 2015.

IT'S A WRAP! FILMING OF UCHE JOMBO'S 'ALMOST PERFECT' COMPLETED

Filming of the movie, Almost Perfect (produced by Uche Jombo) has been wrapped. The movie was directed by Desmond Elliot, and it stars Ken Erics, Michelle Dede, Daniel K. Daniel, Uche Jombo, and Desmond Elliot. Pregnancy does not seem to be slowing down Uche Jombo. This will be the second movie, which she will produce, since returning from the U.S in March. She has also starred in two productions, namely Wives on Strike (directed by Omoni Oboli), and Folly (directed by Alex Mouth). Dis lady no dey tire!

KEN ERICS, MICHELLE DEDE, STAR IN UCHE JOMBO'S 'ALMOST PERFECT'

It was only a matter of time before Michelle Dede appeared in a Nollywood movie. She has been close to people in Nollywood (she is best friends with Rita Dominic) and she has worked as a TV presenter, stage actor, and voiceover artiste. She also stars in the EbonyLife TV series, Meet the Ojos. The call eventually came, when she was asked star in Uche Jombo's latest production, Almost Perfect. She agreed, and appears in the movie along with Ken Erics, Daniel K. Daniel, Uche Jombo, and Desmond Elliot. It will be interesting to see what her first outing in Nollwood was like, and we're sure it won't be her last. Welcome to Nollywood Michelle.
