Now meet the men - in no particular order, they are Ben Lugo Touitou, Ozzy Agu, Nonso Odogwu, Jason Nwoga, Femi Branch, and Joseph Benjamin. Ben Lugo Touitou is an upcoming actor who is perhaps best known for Lagos Cougars. Jason Nwoga is a British-trained Nigerian actor who has appeared in Tinsel, Adams Apples, and Potomanto. Ozzy Agu is a presenter on Studio53 Extra. The others are of course well known Nollywood actors.
The cast of the much anticipated TV series, Desperate Housewives Africa, has been unveiled. Desperate Housewives Africa is an African adaptation of popular ABC television drama series, Desperate Housewives. It is a joint production of Disney and EbonyLife TV. Starring in the series are Michelle Dede, Kehinde Bankole, Marcy Dolapo-Oni, Linda Osifo, Omotu Bissong, and Nina Wacera. Also appearing in the series are Femi Branch, Joseph Benjamin, Jason Nwoga, Nonso Odogwu, Ozzy Agu, and Benjamin Lugo Touitou. The series is scheduled to premiere on EbonyLife TV (DSTV Ch165) on April 30, 2015.
Auditions for the TV series, Desperate Housewives Africa, began on Thursday (January 9), at Protea Hotel Oakwood Park, Lekki, Lagos. The auditions, which will end on Saturday (January 11) have witnessed a large turnout. The series is being produced by EbonyLife TV and Walt Disney.
