Following the disclosure that a N15 million lawsuit brought against Jim Iyke is no longer in court, documents have emerged, which show that the star actor tendered a written apology to the plaintiff (Hajia Habiba Abubakar), prior to the termination of the case. The documents contain an apology from the actor to Hajia Habiba Abubakar, family members of Hajia Habiba Abubakar, and members his own family, for his actions on September 10, 2011. According to the documents, his actions on the said day led to the lawsuit, which was brought against him.

Star actress, Mercy Johnson, and Ruth Kadiri (actress and scriptwriter) were spotted today (June 25) on the set of a new movie currently being shot in Asaba. The as yet untitled movie was written by Ruth Kadiri, and it is being directed by Ifeanyi Ogbonna. Also appearing in the movie are Kenneth Okonkwo, Walter Anga, and Ime Bishop Umoh. The movie is an Onyi Best production.
A N15 million brought against Nollywood star, Jim Iyke has been thrown out of court due to lack of evidence. The case was brought against him by one Habiba Abubakar. According to a statement credited to the actor, the parties had reached a private settlement, even before the case was thrown out of court. With the case out of the way, the actor is free to focus on his acting, business and charity activities without distraction. We say congrats to him.

The popular O'Jez Restaurant, situated in Surulere (Lagos) was gutted by fire on Wednesday (June 13). O'Jez is a popular hangout for Nollywood stars, and it's management has been giving out monthly awards to Nollywood personalities for more than 10 years. The fire, which started around 8am was put out through the combined effort of the restaurant staff, passers-by, and fire fighters. Valuable property and documents were destroyed in the fire, but fortunately, no life was lost.

This means the actress will be unable to attend the premiere of her film, Married But Living Single, which takes place tomorrow (June 3). We wish her a wonderful honeymoon.
Popular actor, Enebeli Elebuwa, who is recovering from a stroke, has denied being healed by Pastor Sign Fireman of Perfect Christianity Ministry. Many publications reported that the actor had been healed by the pastor, after a video showing the actor at the pastor's church surfaced on the Internet. The video shows the actor taking some steps with the assistance and encouragement of the pastor.
