Yesterday (January 16) “Gone Too Far”, a British/Nigerian comedy produced by Poisson Rouge Pictures and directed by fast rising female British/Nigerian Director in the UK, Destiny Ekaragha, was premiered in Ibadan. Filmhouse Cinemas Limited is set to open 4 cinemas in Nigeria. The cinemas will be located in Lagos, Ibadan, Asaba, and Calabar. According to Kene Mkparu (MD, Filmhouse Cinemas Limited), the cinemas will feature state-of-the-art facilities. The film exhibition company aims to open 25 cinemas across Nigeria over a period of 6 years (commencing 2012). The Lagos cinema will be located in Surulere, a centre of activities in Nollywood.
