JIM IYKE APOLOGISED

Following the disclosure that a N15 million lawsuit brought against Jim Iyke is no longer in court, documents have emerged, which show that the star actor tendered a written apology to the plaintiff (Hajia Habiba Abubakar), prior to the termination of the case. The documents contain an apology from the actor to Hajia Habiba Abubakar, family members of Hajia Habiba Abubakar, and members his own family, for his actions on September 10, 2011. According to the documents, his actions on the said day led to the lawsuit, which was brought against him.
The plaintiff, Hajia Habiba Abubakar has also claimed that the case was not thrown out of court due to lack of evidence - rather, she withdrew it after appeals from the actor. However, she did not provide any proof of this to the media. In our opinion, whether the case was thrown out or withdrawn, the indisputable fact is that it is no longer in court. Also indisputable is the fact that the actor tendered an apology. With this, we hope a curtain can be drawn on this episode, which has dragged on for months.
