Award winning Nigerian director Jeta Amata, and his lovely wife Mbong Amata and have been in the United States promoting Jeta's new movie
Black Gold. The movie tells the story of a Niger Delta community's struggle against their own government and a multinational oil corporation, which has plundered their land and destroyed the environment.
The movie was recently screened at the American Black International Film Festival in Miami, where it picked up the Special Jury Prize. Enjoy pictures of Jeta, Mbong, Enyinna Nwigwe (actor and producer) and other members of the Black Gold team in the US.
