He holds a National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin. He began his professional acting career in 1964 with a group led by late Ojo Ladipo. He has starred in hundreds of movies, some of which are Owo Blow, Back to Africa, Àsírí Owó (The Secret of Money), and Igberaga (Pride).

Nollywood actor and producer, Ebun Oloyede, has released his long awaited movie, Aditu Isokan, on DVD. The movie took him 5 years to produce, and is rumoured to have cost more than 50 million naira. It was shot in Abeokuta, Ile Ile Ife, and Ilesha. It has a cast of over 3000, and it was shot in both English and Yoruba. It stars Ebun Oloyede, Jide Kosoko, Odunlade Adekola, Adebayo Salami, Binta Ayo Mogaji, Bukky Ajayi, Yemi Solade, Femi Ogedengbe, Adewale Ayuba, and Alabi Pasuma.

Also in Ilorin for the series are Adebayo Salami, Bimbo Thomas, Eniola Badmus, Adekola Tijani, and Olaniyi Afonja. The series was commissioned by the First Lady of Kwara State.
