Nollywood diva, Rita Dominic and her partner, Mildred Okwo, the producers of award winning movie, The Meeting, was at the office of Oil & Gas servicing company, Danium Energy Services Limited, where a new movie deal was signed and sealed between the parties. Yesterday (July 12), was Nollywood star, Rita Dominic's birthday. The actress had a birthday dinner, which was attended by close friends and associates, including her BFF, Michelle Dede, Chioma Ude (Founder, AFRIFF), and film director, Mildred Okwo.

The film festival, NollywoodWeek Paris, was held in Paris from July through July 7. The 3-day festival by a number of Nollywood actors and filmmakers. Some of those who were at the festival are Mahmood Ali-Balogun, Rita Dominic, Omoni Oboli, Mildred Okwo, OC Ukeje, Chris Attoh, Ashionye Michelle Raccah, Tope Oshin Ogun, Michelle Bello, and Daniel Oriahi. RITA DOMINIC AND MILDRED OKWO'S 'THE MEETING' WINS PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS AT NOLLYWOODWEEK PARIS

The romantic drama, The Meeting (produced by Rita Dominic and Mildred Okwo) won the Peoples Choice Award at the NollywoodWeek Paris film festival, which ended in Paris yesterday (June 8, 2014). The screening of the film at the l'Arlequin Theatre (which seats about 400) was completely sold out. 

OLU JACOBS, EMEM ISONG, JOSEPH BENJAMIN, TOYIN AIMAKHU DISCUSS NOLLYWOOD ON 'SERIOUSLY SPEAKING'

A group of Nollywood stakeholders were at Ultima Studios today, to discuss Nollywood with Adesuwa Onyenokwe on her new show, Seriously Speaking. RITA DOMINIC AT WAZOBIA FM

Nollywood star, Rita Dominic, was at the Lagos studios of Wazobia FM on Tuesday (February 11) to promote her movie, The Meeting. Also with her were Mildred Okwo (the director of The Meeting) and Femi Jacobs (who played Makinde Esho). They were interviewed by Lolo 1 (Omotunde Adebowale) and Igos (Lledal Grandbell Omoro Samson). THE MEETING WINS BIG AT NOLLYWOOD MOVIES AWARDS

The romantic drama, The Meeting, was one of the big winners at the second edition of the Nollywood Movies Awards, which took place yesterday (October 12) at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The movie was nominated in 11 categories, and won in 3. Star actress, Rita Dominic won the coveted award for Best Lead Actress, for her role as Clara Ikemba in The Meeting. Mildred Okwo won the award for Best Director for The Meeting, and Jennifer Alegieuno won the award for Best Makeup for The Meeting. The movie is currently available online at - The Meeting >>> Distrify. It is expected to be released on DVD before the end of 2013.
