Ebube Nwagbo, Uche Elendu, and Zubby Michael, star in a recently completed Igbo language movie, with the working title Ara Sarafina. The movie is about a man named Morocco (Zubby Michael), who loves women with big breasts. More than likely, the movie will have a different title when it is released. Also in the movie are Sarafina Amaechi, Paschaline Alex Okoli, and Egbeigwe Apama. The movie is a production of Pressing Forward Production Ltd., and it was directed by Amaya Uzo Philips. Nollywood star, Mercy Johnson, is fully back to acting, following the birth of her second child, who was born October, last year. She is currently starring alongside Mike Ezuruonye and Tony Umez in a movie titled Moon Maid, which is being shot in Asaba. Also in the movie are Uche Ebere Agu, Blessing Nwankwo, Emma Emordi, Nichole Banna, Lizzygold Onuwaje, and Choma Chijioke. Moon Maid is a production of Emeka Anene's First Movies Production Ltd. It is being produced by Solomon Apete (aka Solo Amaco), and it is being directed Tchidi Chikere. This will be Mercy Johnson's third production since resuming acting. Nollywood legend, Richard Mofe-Damijo, arrived in New York on Friday (June 28, 2015) to play lead role in an international film, anchored by the Nollywood Producers Guild of America. The film also stars Annie Macaulay Idibia, Chinny Chukwu, and Pascal Atuma. The film is being directed by John Uche and it is being produced by Pascal Atuma for the Nollywood Producers Guild and African Pictures Inc.
The Lekki home of Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw, was on Thurday (June 25, 2015), gutted by fire. According to reports, the fire started from an air conditioner in the building, from which it spread to other areas of the house. The fire outbreak is thought to have been caused by a power surge, which occurred after electricity was restored to the building, following a power outage. The fire was put out with the assistance of neighbors and passers-by, but not until after a substantial amount of property had been lost to the blaze. Fortunately, no life was lost in the incident.
After three years of marriage, Nollywood star, Stephanie Linus, is finally pregnant. This is certainly welcome news to many of her fans and well-wishers, who have been expecting this for quite some time. Her pregnancy became public, when she was seen with a very noticeable baby bump, at the Queen's Young Leaders Award, which took place at Buckingham Palace on Monday (June 22, 2015). We say congrats to her, and we wish her a safe delivery.
News has just emerged that Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi, lost her dad at the beginning of this month. Her dad, Pa Felix Anunobi, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015. He will be be laid to rest on August 1, 2015. May God grant the actress the strength to bear this irreparable loss.

Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, attended the 25th African Union Summit in South Africa, under the umbrella of the ONE Campaign. She was part of a recommendation panel on Child marriage and Crimes Against Underaged Children at the gathering. The event which held in Soweto had in attendance the African Union's Director of Social Affairs Ambasaddor Olawale Maiyegun and the UNHCR's representative to the AU Jane Okello. Comic great and renowned Nollywood actor, Basorge Tariah Jnr. is returning to the small screen as Africa Magic premieres its new Pidgin English sitcom, Do-Good, on Monday, 6 July, 2015. Do-Good, which is a spin-off of a popular Nigerian drama series of the 1990s, features the exploits of the titular character Do-Good, played by Tariah, who returns from a sojourn abroad to woo his sweetheart Emem, played by Nollywood leading lady Kate Henshaw.
