An inaugural reception was held for Nollywood star, Desmond Elliott, on Friday (June 12, 2015), to mark his entry into the Lagos State House of Assembly. The reception, which was held in Surulere, Lagos, was attended by a number of his colleagues in Nollywood. Preparations are in top gear for the theatrical release of the movie, Don't Cry For Me, which was produced by Susan Peters and Emem Isong. The movie was shot in March, and it was directed by Desmond Elliot. It stars Yvonne Nelson, Mary Lazarus, Joseph Benjamin, Susan Peters, Joseph Benjamin, Yvonne Jegede, Uti Nwachukwu, and Melvin Oduah. It is expected that it will be in cinemas across Nigeria this August. This will be the first movie that Nollywood actress, Susan Peters, will produce.

Nollywood stars, Eucharia Anunobi, and Susan Peters, were in Kaduna over the weekend for the wedding of Mr. Julius Ochai, who is the elder brother of Susan Peters. After a hectic wedding weekend, the two actresses were finally able to get some downtime, and they stopped for a moment to take this photograph. Interestingly, the two actresses go way back and they have had a long and cordial relationship.

WHAT HAPPENED TO SUSAN PETERS' SUV?

It appears that Nollywood actress, Susan Peters, may have been involved in a car accident. She posted a picture of her SUV on Instagram, which showed that it had been been seriously damaged, with the following caption:

"ThankGod for life# it could have been worse# my SUV #" 

It is not clear if she was the one driving the SUV at the time of the accident, but concerned fans have been sending her consolatory messages ever since she posted the picture.
