JOSEPH BENJAMIN, KEHINDE BANKOLE, TO STAR IN SHAN GEORGE'S NEW MOVIE

Nollywood actress, Shan George, has started work on a new movie, which is titled Beyond Blood. As at Wednesday, rehearsals for the movie, were ongoing. Beyond Blood will be directed by Greg Odutayo, and it will star Shan George, Joseph Benjamin, Kehinde Bankole, Bimbo Manuel, and Carol King. Also slated to appear in the movie are Deyemi Okanlawon and Okey Uzoeshi. Beyond Blood is the second movie to be produced by Shan George. Her first, was the 2012 action thriller, Finding Goodluck, in which she starred, alongside Kalu Ikeagwu.

Hip Hip Hooray! Today (April 21) is the birthday of Nollywood actress, Shan George. She is from Edida in Abi Local Government Area, Cross River State. She attended the University of Lagos, where she studied Mass Communication. Her first TV appearance was in the soap opera, Wind of Destiny. The first movie she appeared in was Thorns of Rose (1996). Poor Shan George! Thieves broke into her house in Calabar on Saturday, carting off electronics, money, jewelry, shoes, and other valuables. The thieves also broke into her car and completely ransacked it, causing serious damage in the process. The actress, who is currently shooting a new movie, which also stars Amaechi Muonagor, was not at home at the time. This is so distressing to hear. How can someone just come into your house and carry of all you have laboured for years to acquire? It is just sheer wickedness.

Her much talked about movie, Finding Goodluck was premiered last Friday (May 25) at Terra Kulture, V/I, Lagos. Society and showbiz big-wigs defied the heavy downpour to be part of the premiere, which rocked Lagos Island. Famous people on the roll call included Ini Edo, Kate Henshaw, Senator Daisy Danjuma, Inspector Oshodi Glover (who represented the IG), The Ibru Sisters, and Desmond Elliot.

Oops! Nollywood actress Shan George has come out to state that she has not remarried, and that she is still very much single (and searching?). You will recall that last week, several online publishers (including Nollywood by Mindspace) broke the story of her marriage, which have now turned out to be false. According to Shan, the pictures of her "wedding" which were circulated on the Internet, are actually from an upcoming movie entitled "Heartbreak. which will soon be released into the market.

Popular Nollywood actress Shan George is now a married woman. She got married in a quiet ceremony, which was attended by just a few people. She is said to have opted for a low key marriage because she had been advised to be less open about about her private life if she wanted her marriage to last. This will be her third marriage. She first got married in 1985, when she was just fifteen years of age. She had two children for her first husband, whom she left in 1991 when she was 21. She later met and married Anthony Nwosisi. This marriage too did not last. Let's hope that this will be third time lucky for her. Shan George is the star of films such as The General's Wife, Made in Heaven, Outcast, My Sweat, and London Fever.
