A service of songs and tribute night was held on Monday (June 9, 2014), for late filmmaker and media entrepreneur, Amaka Igwe. She died in Enugu on April 29, 2014, at the age of 51, after suffering from an asthma attack. The service of songs was attended by many of her friends, associates, and collaborators.

Friends, family, and associates, gathered at Haven Gardens yesterday (June 9, 2014), to hold a service of songs and tribute night for late filmmaker and media entrepreneur, Amaka Igwe, who passed away on April 29.
