TONTOLEE! D'BANJ SIGNS TONTO DIKEH TO DB RECORDS

Nigerian entertainer, D'banj, announced today that he has signed Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, to his record label, DB Records. He made this known via a post on his Instagram page. It all started like a dream in December 2012, when during an interview, D'banj said he was thinking of signing Tonto Dikeh to his record label. This was after Tonto Dikeh had released her first two singles, Hi, and Itz Ova. So, say hello to the new Duchess of DB Records, Tonto Dikeh.

SPOTTED: OMOTOLA AND D'BANJ AT ASO ROCK

Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Nigerian singer, D'Banj, on Tuesday (February 11), attended the official launch of the Nigeria Industrial Revolution Plan (NIRP) and National Enterprise Development Programme (NEDEP), which took place in Abuja. The event was held at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, which houses the residence and office of the Nigerian president. The event was attended by President Goodluck Jonathan, as well as business and political leaders, including Governor Olusegun Mimiko,  Governor Peter Obi, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (Minister of Finance), and Olusegun Aganga  (Minister of Trade and Investment).

ALI NUHU AND D'BANJ SHOOT NEW GLO COMMERCIAL

Popular actor, Ali Nuhu, and Nigerian singer, D'Banj were recently in Cape Town to shoot a new commercial for telecommunications company, Globacom. So, expect to see a new Glo commercial featuring the two stars soon. The are both brand ambassadors for Globacom.

Star actress, Tonto Dikeh, and Nigerian music star, D'Banj, posed together for a photograph at the 'Colourful World of More' concert, which took place earlier this month at Eko Hotels and Suites. There are reports that the actress may be recording new songs at the musician's studio.
