These days, what we see in Nollywood are keen individuals who were previously successful in prior endeavors, joining Nollywood, in order to find more fulfillment. Take for instance, the Isong sisters (Emem Isong and Uduak Oguamanam) who had a flourishing career in the banking industry and a successful educational background respectively. They followed their passion to Nollywood and they are pioneering new trails today. May Owen, the Royal Arts Academy graduate who’s been highly successful in corporate enterprises, is another individual who has followed her aspiration to Nollywood.



In 2013, May Owen has starred alongside Uche Jombo, Dakore Egbuson Akande, Monalisa Chinda, Kalu Ikeagwu, Bassey Ekpeyong, Desmond Elliot, Ini Edo, Mary Lazarus and others in numerous intriguing Nollywood movies. Some of these are Itoro, Desperate Housegirls, Lonely Hearts, Unconditional, and I Think He Loves Me. 

May recently signed a management contract with Rayview Integrated Nigeria Ltd - a Nollywood consulting, artiste management and agency firm. Rayview, aims to help established actors/models to stay on top of their games and to nurture/guide aspiring actors/models to blossom & forge a highly lucrative career in the entertainment industry. Currently, May Owen is having a vacation in United Kingdom after rigorous movement from one Nollywood movie set to another. See some of her pictures in the UK after the cut.
