FROM MODELLING TO NOLLYWOOD
There are quite a number of actors who are gradually making their way into Nollywood from the world of modelling. Some of these are Uti Nwachukwu, Bryan Okwara, Alexx Ekubo, and Kenneth Okolie. They have all featured in several movies, some of which are yet to be released. In fact, True Citizens, a movie starring all the four mentioned actors was released earlier this year.
Uti Nwachukwu is a well known entertainment figure in Nigeria. He won Big Brother Africa (All Stars) in 2010. He appeared in the movie Bursting Out, for which he won Best Actor (West Africa Collaboration) in 2010. He features in the upcoming movies, Weekend Getaway, In the Cupboard, and Spycing.
Bryan Okwara won the Mr. Nigeria pageant in 2007. He starred in the movie, I'll Take My Chances, alongside Ini Edo. He appears in the upcoming movie, Weekend Getaway.
Alexx Ekubo was first runner-up at the Mr. Nigeria pageant in 2010. He appears in the upcoming movies, Aina, and Weekend Getaway.
Kenneth Okolie won the Mr. Nigeria pageant in 2010, and he was second runner up at the Mr. World pageant the same year. Apart from appearing in True Citizens, he also appears in the upcoming movie, Aina.
I have watched the first 3 and they suck. Don't know the 4th guy.
