AMVCA Winner, Wale Ojo, Buries Mum. Pays Emotional Tribute To Her

Award-winning actor, Wale Ojo, buried his mum , Lady Teresa Otieyeke Ojo (nee Anao), last weekend, in Ibadan. It was a private and intimate affair attended by family and close friends. Lady Teresa Otieyeke Ojo passed away on May 23rd, 2024, 12 days after Wale won the AMVCA award for best lead actor.

Award winning actor, Wale Ojo, has lost his mother, Mrs. Teresa Ojo. The actor announced her death via Instagram on Saturday (June 1, 2024). He posted a picture of himself and his mother, with the caption:

My world has crashed all around me. Mama is gone. Goodnight Mum. I will miss you terribly, terribly...

Her death comes 3 weeks after the actor won the highly coveted AMVCA award for Best Actor, which he dedicated to her.

Nollywood star, Rita Dominic, spent Saturday night hanging out with British-Nigerian actor, Wale Ojo. Rita and Wale Ojo both starred in the comedy thriller, Streets of Calabar, which was released in Nigeria in 2013. Wale Ojo was lead actor in Kunle Afolayan's 2012 movie, Phone Swap.
