ACTOR-CUM-PRODUCER, MORRIS SESAY, HOLDS PRESS SCREENING FOR 'BIRTHDAY BASH'

Actor-cum-producer, Morris Sesay, held a screening of his latest production, Birthday Bash, for members of the press on November 18. The screening was held in Surulere at the Afrocentric lifestyle centre, Afriville. Present at the screening were several cast members of the movie cast - Julius Agwu, Saeed 'Funky Mallam' Mohammed, Belinda Effah, Tope Tedela, Uche Iwuanyanwu, and Morris Sesay himself.

UCHE JOMBO'S NEW MOVIE, 'A LONG NIGHT', WRAPPED

Filming of Uche Jombo's new movie, A Long Night, has been completed. The movie, which was shot in Lekki, Lagos, was completed on Monday morning, after about one week of filming, which was sometimes interrupted by rain. The movie was directed by Ike Nnaebue, and it stars, Uche Jombo, Van Vicker, and Julius Agwu. Also in the movie are Bayray McNwizu, Tamara Eteimo, Okey Uzoeshi, Daniel K. Daniel, Bose Ogunboye (aka Lepacious Bose).

JULIUS AGWU MAKES A RETURN TO ACTING

Top comedian, Julius Agwu, is making a comeback to acting. The comedian actually started his career in entertainment as an actor, only later veering into comedy. Back then, he appeared in movies such as Scars of Womanhood (1997), Lagos Boys (2003), and Executive Connection (2005). His comeback began in 2013, when he appeared in the movie, Torn, which was directed by Moses Inwang. This year, he has done at least two movies already - Wives on Strike (produced by Omoni Oboli), and A Long Night (produced by Uche Jombo). It will be no surprise, if we see him in several more movies before the year is over.

Van Vicker, Uche Jombo, and Julius Agwu, are starring in a new movie, which is currently being shot in Lagos. This is the first movie, which Van Vicker will appear in after recovering from a knee injury, which he sustained in a novelty football game, back in March. It appears that the working title of the movie is A Long Night, but this is yet to be confirmed. Welcome back Van! We've missed you!

Nollywood star, Omoni Oboli, has just finished directing her third movie, titled Wives on Strike. The movie stars an impressive cast, which includes Kenneth Okonkwo, Julius Agwu, Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha, Kalu Ikeagwu, Ufuoma Ejenobor, Kehinde Bankole, and Omoni Oboli herself.
