PATIENCE OZOKWO, CHINEDU IKEDIEZE, MERCY AIGBE LEAD PROTEST TO LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY


Nollywood stars, Patience Ozokwo, Chinedu Ikedieze, and Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, on Thursday, led a rally to the Lagos State House of Assembly, calling for the release of the secondary school girls abducted by the terrorist group Boko Haram. The rally started at the popular Allen Avenue, and wound its way to the Lagos State House of Assembly in Alausa. Veteran actress, Patience Ozokwo, gave an impassioned plea calling for the release of the abducted girls with tears in her eyes and her voice hoarse with emotion. The gathering was later adressed by the speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji. Also present at the rally was veteran actor Tony Akposheri, and Nollywood actress, Ejiro Okurame.
