It stars Ebele Okaro, Kalu Ikeagwu, Chioma Akpotha, Ekpenyong Bassey Inyang, and Belinda Effah. This beautiful picture of the cast was taken on the red carpet at the premiere. She is popularly known for her role as Lovette in the hit series, Lekki Wives.

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, was on Friday (May 30) given an award of excellence in New Jersey, USA, by the International Association of Psychiatric Nurses of Nigeria (IAPNN). The award was given to her for her efforts in promoting mental health through her movie, Silence, which will soon be in cinemas. The movie was directed by Alex Mouth, and it stars Joseph Benjamin, Alex Osifo, Tina Mba, and Iyabo Ojo herself. We say congratulations to her.

Star actress, Tonto Dikeh, was at the premiere of the movie, Musical Whispers, which took place on Friday (May 30), at Silverbird Galleria, Lagos. Leading Nollywood actors Monalisa Chinda, Ini Edo, Desmond Elliot and Uche Jombo, on Friday (May 30, 2014), signed endorsement deals as new ambassadors for the Kill the Killer campaign of the New Nation organisation (headed by Charles Dukwe). The campaign aims to spearhead the fight against diabetes and high blood presure in the society. The deals were signed at the corporate headquarters of the Dukwe Global Organization in Port Harcourt.

Nollywood actress, Nkechi Nnaji (School Runs, Tears of the Innocent, Sorrow of the Orphan) was a year older last Tuesday, and some of her friends organised a surprise party for her at Lagoon Cresst Waterfront in Lekki, Lagos. Nollywood star, Tonto Dikeh, was at the Lagos Studios of Cool FM on Thursday (May 29, 2014). She was a guest on the style and fashion show Catwalk with Kaylah, which is hosted by Kaylah Oniwo. The actress was accompanied on the visit by her stylist, Jeremiah Ogbodo, who styled her for the outing. The actress also got to see popular Cool FM OAP, DJ Freeze, during the visit.

Nollywood star, Genevieve Nnaji, was a panel speaker at the Africa Business Conference organised by the Lagos Business School, which took on Friday (May 30, 2014). The event was held at Honeywell Auditorium of the Lagos Business School. On the panel with her were Sam Onyemelukwe of Trace TV, and Audu Maikori of Chocolate City Records. The theme of the conference was Africa Lions Arising: Driving Private Sector Growth through Enhanced Intra-African Trade.

Nollywood actress, Empress Njamah, organized a party for children of the Survival Orphanage Home in Maitama, Abuja, on Democracy Day (May 29, 2014). The party which lasted all day, was organized under the auspices of her charitable foundation, House of Empress Foundation. DANIEL LLOYD JOINS STELLA DAMASUS, JOSEPH BENJAMIN ON 'AFFAIRS OF THE HEART'

Young Nollywood actor, Daniel Lloyd, has joined the cast of the new movie, Affairs of the Heart, which is currently being Atlanta, Georgia. The movie is being directed by Robert Peters, and it also stars Joseph Benjamin, and Beverly Naya. This is not the first time Joseph Benjamin, Daniel Lloyd, and Beverly Naya will appear in the same movie. All three of them starred in the movie, Stripped, which premieres in Atlanta this weekend.

Nollywood actress, Bimbo Thomas (Omo Ghetto, Awa Obinrin), spent Children's Day hosting a kid's party in Surulere area of Lagos. The actress had a lot of fun with kids from Olive Nursery School, who attended the party.

Nollywood stars, Patience Ozokwo, Chinedu Ikedieze, and Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, on Thursday, led a rally to the Lagos State House of Assembly, calling for the release of the secondary school girls abducted by the terrorist group Boko Haram. The rally started at the popular Allen Avenue, and wound its way to the Lagos State House of Assembly in Alausa. Veteran actress, Patience Ozokwo, gave an impassioned plea calling for the release of the abducted girls with tears in her eyes and her voice hoarse with emotion. The gathering was later adressed by the speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji. Also present at the rally was veteran actor Tony Akposheri, and Nollywood actress, Ejiro Okurame.

Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw, was seen Thursday evening at the popular Ikeja City Mall on mainland Lagos. The actress was there as part of the Galaxy 11 campaign of Samsung Electronics West Africa. The campaign is a promotional drive for the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S5. Also present at the event was the Managing Director of Samsung Electronics West Africa, Bravo Kim.

All's fair in love and war they say. This is certainly true in the case of veteran actress, Clarion Chukwurah, and AGN president, Ibinabo Fiberesima. The two set aside their recent war of words at the recently held Africa Movie Academy Awards, to embrace, after Clarion Chukwurah won the AMAA 2014 prize for Best Actress in a Leading Role. The two have had differences Clarion Chukwurah attacked Ibinabo's record as president of the AGN in a press release issued in March, and again in subsequent interviews. On her part, Ibinabo Fiberesima issued a robust defense of her record in office in a lengthy statement addressed to Clarion Chukwurah in May. However, all this was set aside as they embraced at the AMAA award ceremony.

In a philathropic gesture, Nollywood star, Osita Iheme, has endowed, a competition at Ojodu Primary School, Lagos. The actor presented the school with a trophy to be given to the winner of the competition, in addition to pledging to award a cash prize to the winner.

Nollywood star, Bob-Manuel Udokwu, received a well-deserved Lifetime Achievement award at the just concluded Africa Movie Academy Awards, which took placce in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, last Saturday (May 24, 2014). The actor showed an early interest in acting, and he studied Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt. He was a cast member of the popular 90s soap opera, Checkmate, which was produced by the late Amaka Igwe. He starred in Living in Bondage, which is widely regarded as the first Nollywood movie.

Mike Ezuruonye, Queen Nwokoye, Eniola Badmus, and Halima Abubakar, are currently in Asaba shooting a new movie. The movie is being produced by Uche Nancy, and it is being directed by Okey Zubelu. Check out some location pictures below.

They will both be attending the premiere of the movie, Stripped, which will take place on Saturday (May 31, 2014). They both appear in Stripped, together with Joseph Benjamin and Beverly Naya, who are also expected to be at the premiere. Ramsey Nouah and Daniel Lloyd are seen here, just before going on a radio interview on Wednesday in Atlanta.

Nollywood star, Hilda Dokubo, was at Silverbird Cinemas, Port Harcourt, on Children's Day, to speak with kids about her movie, titled Stigma, which deals with the subject of stigmatization of HIV victims. The event was a success and the kids children were enlightened and excited. The children who turned for the event were able to take pictures with the actress, and also collect her autograph.

IBINABO FIBERESIMA, OC UKEJE, YOMI FASH LANSO AND MORE AT CHILDREN'S DAY READING IN PORT HARCOURT

Several top Nollywood actors led by the Executive Producer of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, Mr. Seun Oloketuyi, were in Port Harcourt on Children's Day for a reading and mentoring session with secondary school students. This was part of activities leading up to the 6th edition of the BON Awards, which will take place in Port Harcourt, come October. The actors on the delegation were Ibinabo Fiberesima, OC Ukeje, Doris Simeon, Yomi Fash Lanso, Dayo Amusa, Tamara Eteimo, Sylvya Oluchy, and Olaitan Ogungbile.
