HAPPY BIRTHDAY RITA DOMINIC!

Today is the birthday of star Nollywood actress Rita Dominic. Rita Dominic was born July 12, 1975 into the Royal Waturuocha family of Aborh Mbaise local government area in Imo State. Rita started performing at an early age, appearing in school productions and television shows.
She had her primary and secondary school education in Abia State (Nigeria), after which she proceeded to the University of Port Harcourt to obtain a degree in Theatre Arts.


She starred in her first Nollywood movie, "A Time to Kill", in 1998. Since then she has gone on to establish herself as major actress and fan favorite. She has featured in over a hundred movies. These include Saidi's Song, White Waters, Reloaded, Girls Cot, Desperate Billionaire, Kill the Bride, Indecent Act, True Romance, and The Intruder. Beautiful and talented, she has also received several awards over the years. These include Most Outstanding Actress (City People Awards 2004)

Noted for her strong sense of fashion, she is credited with helping to raise the fashion standard in Nollywood.Always tastefully attired, she is a delight to see on the screen, and on the red carpet. Fans eagerly look forward to see what she will wear at public outings.
