Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar celebrated her birthday on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Heart of Gold Children's Hospice in Surulere, Lagos. She visited the hospice along with actress, Moyo Lawal,and other members of her team. Halima and her entourage were received by the matron and other members of staff of the hospice.
The children at the hospice were incredibly happy to see her. Halima did not go empty-handed as she brought various items of foodstuff for the children. She also made a financial donation to the hospice. The matron at the hospice was very grateful to Halima for her kind gesture, and she prayed that she would have long life and prosperity.
Oh, and by the way, Halima has just acquired a brand new Toyota FJ Cruiser. You know what they say - Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves. We say well done Halima, and we say kudos to all our Nollywood stars who have been using their profile to support good causes, and give back to society. Well done all of una!
