COMING SOON: MR. & MRS.

The trailer of an upcoming movie titled MR. & MRS. has been released. The movie is produced by Chinwe Egwuagwu and directed by veteran Nollywood director, Ikechukwu Onyeka. The movie stars two rising stars of Nollywood - Joseph Benjamin, and Nse Ikpe Etim. Also featured in the movie are Paul Apel and Thelma Ojiji. In continuance of the use of better cameras for Nollywood movies, the movie was shot using the Canon 5D. There are speculations that the movie will be in the cinemas by July, but there is no confirmed date yet.

The Story

The story deals with the age-old issue of class division. It takes a look at two couples whose marriages are being threatened by differences in financial ability and social standing. Joseph Benjamin plays Kenneth, who is embarrassed by the poor background of his wife (Nse Ikpe-Etim), whom he keeps out of sight by relegating her to the kitchen. On the other hand, Linda (Thelma Ojiji) and Charles (Paul Apel) seem to have a perfect marriage. However, things start to go wrong, when Linda, who takes care of the bills, begins to take her husband for granted.
