Several top-rated Nollywood stars are currently in Kenya on a roadshow put together by the Nigerian High Commission in Kenya. Participating in the roadshow Patience Ozokwor (Mama G), John Okafor (Mr. Ibu), Francis Duru, Sam Loco, Uche Jombo, Monalisa Chinda, and Desmond Elliot.
They will be visiting a number of educational institutions, where they will hold interactive sessions as part of the roadshow. They were at the United States International University in Nairobi yesterday (May 26, 2011). They gave motivational talks, and even danced to the delight of their audience.
They will be at the University of Nairobi today. On Sunday,the Nollywood stars will attend a gala dinner to celebrate the inauguration of President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria. The roadshow will finally come to an end on Tuesday (May 31, 2011). Did you say Nollywood rocks? Oh yes - from New Lagos to New York, from Nairobi to Nottingham Well done guys.
