BASORGE TARIAH JNR., KATE HENSHAW, SEGUN ARINZE, AND MORE, AT THE LAUNCH OF 'DOGOOD' SITCOM

Africa Magic on Monday (July 6, 2015) launched it's latest sitcom, DoGood, at a glamorous event, which was held in Lagos, at the Oriental Hotel. Present at the launch were lead actor, Basorge Tariah Jnr., and star actress, Kate Henshaw, who also appears in the sitcom. Others in attendance include Wangi Mba-Uzuokwu (Regional Manager, Africa Magic), John Ugbe (MD, Multichoice Nigeria), Ini Edo, Bryan Okwara, Funmi Holder, Charles Novia, Segun Arinze, Bovi Ugboma, and Helen Paul. TOYIN AIMAKHU, HELEN PAUL, AFEEZ ENIOLA, STAR IN 'IYA IBADAN'

Toyin Aimakhu Johnson, Helen Paul, and Afeez Eniola, are starring in a new comedy titled Iya Ibadan, which is currently being shot in Ibadan. Also in the movie are Liz Da Silva, Mercy Ebosele, and Adeola Ayoade. The movie is being directed by Adebayo Tijani, and it is being produced by Toyin Aimakhu Johnson. We now have the full cast for Yvonne Okoro's second production, which is currently being shot in Ghana. The main cast of the comedy movie, which is titled Ghana Must Go, are Nkem Owoh, Kofi Adjorlorlo, Ada Ameh, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Helen Paul, IK Ogbonna, and Okawa Shaznay. Nkem Owoh, Ada Ameh, and Blossom Chukwujekwu, are currently in Ghana for a new movie, which is being produced by Yvonne Okoro. This is the second movie that Yvonne Okoro will be producing. Her first was the 2013 romantic comedy, Contract, which was directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso. Her new production is being directed Frank Rajah. Also in the new movie are Okawa Shaznay, IK Ogbonna, and Helen Paul.

ANEKE TWINS SPOTTED IN ABUJA

Nollywood twins, Chidimma Aneke and Chidiebere Aneke, were in Abuja over the weekend to attend the 45th birthday of Deaconess Oluwatoyin Ajoke Shola-Bakare. Also at the event was comedienne and TV presenter, Helen Paul. The sisters attended the event in stunning purple floor-length gowns. Do you like their outfits?

OC Ukeje, Gideon Okeke, Oreka Godis, and Reanne Opia, are starring in a new movie titled When Love Happens. Also in the movie are Desmond Elliot, Wale Ojo, Bukky Wright, Keppy Ekpeyong-Bassey, Shafi Bello, and Helen Paul. The movie is being directed by Seyi Babatope, who directs the EbonyLife TV series, Ojos in D House.

Uti Nwachukwu and Helen Paul, presenters of the popular Nollywood magazine program Jara, cover the current edition of The Redsheet magazine. The magazine retails for N800, and is available at newsstands and select outlets across Nigeria.

M-NET HOSTS NOLLYWOOD AS IT LAUNCHES JARA

Earlier this year, M-Net's Africa Magic channel started the broadcast of it's first original production, Jara. Jara is an half-hour program, which gives viewers an inside look at Nollywood. It is hosted by Uti Nwachukwu (BBA All Stars winner) and Helen Paul (baby voiced commedienne). It is already proving to be a must-watch program for many families. On February 27, 2011, M-Net officially launched Jara at an event held at Genesis Deluxe Cinema. Guests at the launch included Desmond Elliot, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Monalisa Chinda, Omoni Oboli, Chris Attoh, Victor Olaotan, Joseph Benjamin, Damilola Adegbite, Paul Obazele, and many more.
