"Offshoot" Starring Kehinde Bankole Hits Cinemas June 14

The crime thriller, Offshoot, which stars AMVCA winner, Kehinde Bankole, will open in cinemas across Nigeria on Friday (June 14). It was directed by Ugandan filmmaker, Ayeny T. Steve, and produced by Oluwatoyin Adewumi and Benjamin Abejide Adeniran.

About the Movie

Kehinde Bankole plays Modesire Mbakwe, who is appointed the Acting Head of Investigation and Operations at the National Drug Agency (NDA). Her tenure begins with a series of triumphant raids that disrupt the operations of a powerful drug cartel. However, the cartel begins sending her death threats. The threats intensify to the point that her marriage is strained to breaking point.

Also in the movie are Kelechi Udegbe, Ibrahim Suleiman, Greg Ojefua, Bimbo Manuel, David Jones David, Tomiwa Sage, Vera Ephraim, Nonso Odogwu, Fausat Balogun, and Salisu Danjuma Gezawa.
