The premiere of the advocacy film, Deafening Silence, was held on Wednesday (June 5)at EbonyLife Place, Victoria Island, Lagos. It was graced by the likes of Sola Sobowale, Kate Henshaw, Desmond Eliot, Chidi Mokeme, and Majid Michel, among others.The film is a joint project of the EU and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to raise awareness of all forms of violence against women and young girls in Nigeria.The film was produced by Emem Misong Misodi and directed by Biodun Stephen. It stars Toni Tones, Kate Henshaw, Femi Jacobs, Daniel Etim-Effiong, Chidi Mokeme, Bimbo Akintola, Debby Felix, and Ekamma Etim-Inyang.
