AMAECHI MUONAGOR TO BE BURIED JUNE 21

The burial of late Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonagor, has been fixed for Thursday, June 21, 2024. He passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, after losing his battle with various health problems. He had diabetes and kidney problems, and he also suffered a stroke. before he passed away. At the time of his death, he had become a shadow of his ebullient self. He was bedridden and barely able to talk. Efforts were being made to raise funds for him to undergo a kidney transplant in India, but he passed away not long after the fundraising began

He will be buried in his hometown of Ugamuma Obosi, in Anambra State.  Funeral proceedings will begin with a service of songs at his residence, on Thursday, June 20, 2024. His funeral service will begin at 7am on Friday, with his body leaving Crown Hospital Mortuary for his residence, for lying in state. His burial service will hold at 10am, and he will be interred in his residence.

The actor leaves behind a legacy consisting of numerous movies, which have brought joy to various generations of Nollywood lovers. He is renowned for his acting ability and humor, easily shifting between serious and comedic roles. His movies will continue to thrill millions, long after his demise. Some of the movies he is known for are Aki and Pawpaw. Aki na Ukwa, Living in Bondage, Issakaba, Igodo, and 2 Rats. He will be sorely missed by fans, family, and colleagues.
