Nollywood actor, Ramsey Nouah, has proposed to collaborate
with the Republic of Rwanda to produce a film that will help to boost the image
of that country. According to Vanguard, Rwandan Minister of Sport and Culture, Ambassador Joseph
Habineza said the film, which is Ramsey’s movie will be a romantic comedy that
is aimed at promoting Rwanda’s tourism and investment sectors in Africa.
To be sponsored by that country’s government as well as the private sector, the film will feature both Nollywood stars and Rwandan actors alike. Vanguard reported that the movie is estimated to cost a whopping US$1.5 million and that the minister said they are conducting online pre-selections and the shooting should start in January next year.
