COMMUNIQUE ISSUED BY ASSOCIATION OF ANAMBRA STATE ENTERTAINMENT PRACTITIONERS (AASEP)

The General Congress of all the entertainment practitioners in Anambra State including Nollywood actors, muscians, comedians, stage performers, MC, dancers, footballers, DJs e.tc met for the second time on the 7th of June 2014. 


Having noticed that night life is next to zero in the state, that active social life is no longer available in the state and thereby making the state dull at Dawn. ASSOCIATION OF ANAMBRA STATE ENTERTAINMENT practitioners are set to bring back life into the state through her members.

The meeting was well attended by our stars from various states in Nigeria and from various arms of the Association including the Igwe of Oko, Professor Igwe Laz Ekwueme who was The Royal Father of the Day, who is also a member of the Board. 

The house resolved the following:

[1] That hence Anambra Entertainers must be united with one voice and one body

[2] Having observed that our Governor Willie Obiano, AKPOKUE DIKE AGULERI, is doing everything possible to make sure that our state is secured and urbanized through and through AASEP will partner with the state to bring fun, jobs to the state through

[A] Create program such as using Awka as Movie making centre thereby creating enormous jobs for the citizens.

Attracting fun seekers who will be coming into the state to attend any of the numerous programs AASEP is planning for the state ,including Live Music performances ,making movies very often in various town ,holding jams from time to time in places in the state that will bring to the state First class Entertainers from out of the state and within the state

[C] AASEP resolved that for the great insight of our Governor and his commitment to job creation for the state ,that he will be made a GRAND PATRON OF ASSEP

[D] That AASEP must be fully represented at the burial of icon, AMAKA IGWE, participate actively at the burial of Ozoemena Nsugbe who is our member posthumously and also participate actively during the burial of Lizzy Ogbodo .

[E] AASEP designed a program which they will partner with the Government to honor our STARS and crown them AMBASSADORS FOR THE STATE.

[F] AASEP through her project ANAMBRA GAT TALENT designed to create over 10,000 jobs for the youths in the state.

[F] That AASEP must hold 4 great earth shaking events this year in ANAMBRA STATE that will make the nation to start seeing Anambra state as the centre of entertainment.

[F] AASEP resolved that we shall honor our members that brought honor to the state during AMAA award held at BAYELSA including CLARION CHUKWURAH who won the Best Actress, Bob Manuel Udokwu won the Best Face, Teco Benson who won the Best Movie in Nollywood and Tai Obasi who was the runner up for the best script writer.
