Temitayo Maryam Adeniyi, who is popularly known as Shakyra is an upcoming Nollywood actress from Ekiti State. She was born and raised in Lagos, where she attended Government College, Ikorodu. She obtained an Ordinary National Diploma in accounting from Yaba College of Technology, before proceeding to Lagos State University, where she studied Banking and Finance.
She has appeared in more than 20 movies, some of which are Ipinlese, Alani Baba Labake, Amisu, and Ojo Idunnu. She has also produced and starred in three movies of her own, namely Anike Onidoti, Ipinlese, and Shakyra. At present, she is at work on a new movie titled Olosha.
