STEPHANIE LINUS EXTENDS HELPING HAND TO VVF VICTIMS
Star actress, Stephanie Linus, and the Extended Hands Foundation, with assistance from Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company, recently provided free surgical operations for 22 women living with Vesico Vaginal Fistula (VVF). This is a disease condition, which causes leakage of urine and faeces through the vagina. It is particularly among young girls, who are forced to marry early. The operations were performed at Ogoja General Hospital in Cross River state. For several years now, the actress has been working to raise awareness of the disease. Check out more pictures after the cut.
