Nollywood star, Oge Okoye, attended the second annual African Awards, which took place last Saturday (August 31) at the Georgia Public Broadcasting Studio in Atlanta. The actress attended the event in a dazzling Estella couture gown, which attracted quite a lot of attention.
The African Awards is an annual event sponsored by Hope of Africa - a non-profit organization headquartered in Atlanta, which is focused on community development through education and empowerment.
Each year the African Awards showcases and recognizes the talents of people of African descent who have made positive and selfless contributions to the improvement of Africans as well as those of the Diaspora. The African Awards donates a portion of its proceeds to the Hope of Africa Organization in their continued determination to provide education scholarships funds and school and medical supplies to orphans and the underprivileged in West Africa.
