The Story
HOODRUSH is a musical thriller detailing the travails of two brothers closely bonded by their love for music; but deeply separated by their means for success. Shez and Tavier are two of a kind pursuing a Herculean dream of becoming music stars. But all they have is their amazing vocal talents, good looks, a crib in the ghetto and a menial job that could hardly pay for their clothing and feeding expenses.
They soon realize they need more to achieve their dreams, and participating and hoping to win a credible talent hunt show comes as their only natural option. Being at the bottom of the societal grid, ghetto life’s ugly fabric begins to wear on them and their eventual vulnerability puts them at the mercy of the high and mighty.
Shez, the older one, falls victim to the whims of an older lady with a dark reputation in drugs and human trafficking. Reluctant at first, he soon realizes that this lady could be the key to unlock his success and open the doors to his long guarded dream of becoming a music star. Without his brother’s knowledge, he frolics with this old lady plotting a chart to a financial freedom, until he’s presented with a dilemma to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea.
good set of actors as cast but all dis producers in nollywood dnt knw how to do business...how do u expect dis movie to sell wen all d cast r not even marketable...they should have casted 1 or 2 actors dat r marketable...thnx.

There r good actors in d movie lyk bimbo akintola bt even she does not have dat market appeal...bt on d oda hand, does gabriel afolayan sing?? and d songs done in d movie, r they really sung by d acts?? Let nollywood always use movies lyk dreamgirls, high school musical, Glee etc as standards..
