Nollywood by Mindspace: SHAN GEORGE PREMIERES FINDING GOODLUCK

Star actress, Shan George, is not letting go of her reign in the Nigerian movie industry anytime soon. Her much talked about movie, Finding Goodluck was premiered last Friday (May 25) at Terra Kulture, V/I, Lagos. Society and showbiz big-wigs defied the heavy downpour to be part of the premiere, which rocked Lagos Island. Famous people on the roll call included Ini Edo, Kate Henshaw, Senator Daisy Danjuma, Inspector Oshodi Glover (who represented the IG), The Ibru Sisters, and Desmond Elliot.

The night began with a beautiful rendition of the Nigerian national anthem by Darlene Benson. There was a fashion parade and electrifying musical performances by several upcoming artistes. Ace comedienne, Lepacious Bose was not left out of the fun. The humour merchant stole the night with rib-cracking jokes, which got everyone reeling with laughter. Shan George expressed gratitude to everyone who made it to the premiere despite the rainfall and busy schedules. She also recognized and appreciated the team effort that made Finding Goodluck possible.

Finding Goodluck is expected to be at the cinemas soon. It stars Shan George as a hard working police officer, along with the likes of Kalu Ikeagwu, Florence Johnson, Franca Anaka, Ekere Nkanga, and Eric Anderson. Shot in Calabar, Finding Goodluck tells the story of a state called Aquariv, which is besieged by assassins and kidnappers sponsored by some politicians. The terror is driving the entire state into chaos and tragedy strikes, when the son of the Governor (Kalu Ikeagwu) is kidnapped. Who are the faceless marauders behind the spate of crime in the state? How will Supol Jide (Shan George) unravel the mystery?
