There is no other way to say it - veteran actor and ace comedian, Sam Loco Efe is dead. Aged 66, the much loved actor passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011, in his hotel room at Rapour Hotel, Owerri. He was in Owerri, working on a new movie, titled Unknown Prophet at the time of his death.
According to reports, his lifeless body was discovered when the door of his hotel room was forced open, after concerns were raised over his whereabouts.

The late Sam Loco was a native of Benin, Edo State (Nigeria). He was born in Enugu, and grew up in Abakaliki. His acting career has spanned the theatre, TV, and film. A dedicated and talented actor, he will be remembered for his good command of English, bombastic language, acerbic wit, and comic genius. He has featured in over 130 movies, some of which include, Heart of Stone, Husband My Foot, Away Match, and Brain Box.
Please leave a few words in tribute to this wonderful actor, who has brought laughter and joy into many of our homes.
