Sunday, May 29, 2011 was the inauguration of President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria. Several top Nollywood stars who are currently touring Kenya attended a gala dinner to celebrate the inauguration. The gala dinner was held in Nairobi, and it was organized by the Nigerian High Commission in Kenya. The top actors who attended the gala dinner were Desmond Elliot, Monalisa Chinda, Patience Ozokwor, Sam Loco, Uche Jombo, Francis Duru, and John Okafor (Mr. Ibu).
