Sylvester Madu, a popular Nollywood actor with a reputation for playing tough characters has quit acting for good to become a full time pastor in one of the parishes of Christ Embassy Church. His parish is located at Eric Moore Rd in Surulere (Lagos). Today, his image is very different from that of the bad boy characters, which he was known for. Almost always, formally dressed, he even engages in door to door evangelism. Some of the movies, which he has starred in Sound of Poverty, Power of Trust, Scent of Passion, Margaret Thatcher, Holy Cross, and The Sheperd. The loss of the movie industry is the gain of the Lord's vineyard I guess. Thanks for the memories Sylvester.

Sylvester Madu dumps Acting and He is now full time Pastor may the good Lord give you strength of Faith to stand and face any trials that may comes your way as a Pastor, Bro Sylvester do you know that your story today was in the Bible? its came to a time when God Commands Abraham to Offer His only son Isaac as a Sacrifice But Abraham never gave up He went ahead to do the Sacrifice but this same God stoped Him intend used the ram for the Sacrifice and Later Abraham named that place The Lord Provides. that means God used you in the movies field with different Title, different Characters, in the movies industries in other to Known His Kingdom the Darkness,Lightness,Goodness,wickedness,how Sweet and Bitter it is the World. He intentionally waited patiently for you to pass through all these because He Knows a Time will Come when He will use you to win souls, change character,Build good Foundations for His Kingdom. your Life is an Example to any Human on Earth.
