The movie, Brother's Keeper, which was produced by Okey Ezugwu, bagged two awards at the recently concluded Zuma Film Festival, which took place in Abuja. Omoni Oboli won the award for Best Actress for her role in Brother's Keeper, while Majid Michel got the award for Best Actor, for his role in the movie. This brings to thirteen, the number of awards, which the movie has won to date. It will soon be out on DVD.
The biennial Zuma Film Festival, organized by the Nigerian Film Commission (NFC), came to a close in Abuja (Nigeria), last Wednesday (May 9, 2012). The festival kicked off last Sunday (May 6, 2012), with an opening ceremony, which was held at the Silverbird Galleria. The festival ended on Wednesday with an award ceremony held at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, which saw several actors and film-makers going home with awards.
