Late Nollywood actor, Muna Obiekwe had been battling with renal failure but kept it away from friends and colleagues. Muna needed millions for his health problems, but instead of seeking for funds from the public, he told his friends that he was planning a stage play to raise money.

We regret to announce that Nollywood actor, Muna Obiekwe, has passed away. The actor died today, January 18, 2015, as a result of kidney problems. He was undoubtedly one of the most talented actors of his generation. Some of his movies are He Lives in Me, My Best Enemy, Men in Love, Blackberry Babes, Eye of the Gods, and The King Must Die. May his soul rest in peace.
